The Color Of Us: 1.1 Prologue for Colors

Amethyst (My sister) droped me off at the gym so I could work out, she always made fun of me for going to the gym in stead of hanging out with my friends on saturdays.

She started reading for about five minutes, then diccided she wanted to leave.

"Good bye Gray" she sd in an annoyed voice as she walked past me. She headed for the stairs and went out, most likely to hang out with one of her many friends.

Once I was done with my work out I change my clothes and took a shower, once I checked my pockets I relized Amethyst still had the car, and I had no money for a taxi. So I walked the two or so miles home.

Once I was home it was dark out, and I saw my parents danceing on the balcony.I din't bother interupting them, they would make a fuss and my mother would jump off the balcony just to give me a hug and make sure I was alright.

Once inside I saw my sister Carnelian talking to her friend Bleu, Bleu came over almost every night, weather it was for a sleep over or just to hang out. Carnelian was the strange one in the family, the least friends, but the ones she made were very close to her.

My sister looked up to me, she always said I was her role model. I love her but she can be very annoying some times.

Bleu looked at me when I walked in and beconed me her, I came by my sister and bleu gave me a sinister like smile, I always thought of her like anouther sister in ways.

"Any thing fun happen today gray?" she asked as Carnelian looked at me with a big smile on her face waiting for the answer.

I tought about all I did today, Woke up, ate breakfast, friends from the swim team called me and asked me to meet them at the gym early, Amethyst agreed to take me to the gym and left me the keys. She later came after my friends had left and took the keys and then I walked home.

It seemed ussual nothing out of the ordinary I looked at her and patted her head saying "Nope nothing new, just a normal day considering your still here" she laughed and I heard my mother quickly rush down the stairs.

She came over and huged me and slurred her words as she said "How are you? what did you do today? I didn't see you at all today! I missed you!!"

"Ummm Mom one question at a time"

She laughd and huged me again, some times she was just a bit to exitabel....

"But never mind those questions honey! Wheres your sister?"

she asked as the front door creaked open and my sister went through the opened door.

"I think that answers-"

she ran twords my sister cutting me off

"I was begining to worry baby!!" my mom squeeled

"I always come home at ten on weekends mom"

"Haha, I still worry for my babies"

My much more laid back father came up and told me some jokes told me that I should get to bed a little earlyer tonight.

I said of coarse and he explaind that I had school tomarrow.

"Hahaha! I know dad"

"Yes, I was just make sure of coarse haha."

I always loved my father, he looked out for me and when ever I got in troubel he was there. he gave me a huge hug then I went up stairsd saw him go tword Carnelian, and Bleu, most likely telling them it was time for bed.

At about midnight when every one was in bed I fallowed my fathers orders and went to sleep.

It was time for another gray day, my name certainly fits my life, nothing new happens ever! all I want is just something new!!

Yes it is deffinatly a normal day bleu is here, Amethyst is cleaning breakfast, I'm up late

Well I guess Bleu must have slept over, I wonder why she's never home? I know that her dad died, and she moved here from france when she was only a toddler.
